The dance D.A.L.I. is figurative, associative, inebriated and recalls, as the écriture automatique in surrealism, dreamlike , hallucinative and grotesque situations. In the movements and in the structure of the piece, the combination of anthitetic, incongruous, macabre and trivial elements with sophisticated passages reflects the inconsistent links arousing when dreaming or thinking. The choreographer has also been inspired by David Lynch's work whose elements are to be found as well in Salvador Dali's production such as the duplication, the ominous sounddesign, the voyeurism, the lack logic and the fear of the unknown. The result is a world of energies originating from a restless state of mind which overwhelm the spectators with a vertiginous sensation.
